Hi Danielle, definitely get your dog a pair of good booties.  
There are all kinds out there, and lots of opinions about the 
best ones to use.  I personally really like the Ruffware booties 
that Seeing Eye provides.  But others have their favorites.  The 
important thing is to get them now, and start having your dog 
wear them so that she gets used to them.  At first, the dogs 
don't necessarily like having them on.  And depending on the kind 
of bootie you get, they can be a little difficult to get on at
