[nagdu] Dog boots?

Hi, everyone!
At what point/temperature do you start putting boots on your guides? I live in a northern climate, and this year we have a bit of a conundrum - no snow, but humid weather at or around the freezing mark. This results in bone-chilling cold that we're not used to here. I've never put boots on Jenny when there hasn't been snow or slush or muck on the ground... so what do you guys do?
