I start putting on the boots when the temperature gets to about 20 degrees or so, or if there is salt on the ground.
HTH,
Aleeha and Dallas, who don’t have to worry about it here in Louisiana, but will get a shock on returning to Ohio next week

I live in a northern climate, and this year we have a bit of a conundrum - no snow, but humid weather at or around the freezing mark. This results in bone-chilling cold that we're not used to here. I've never put boots on Jenny when there hasn't been snow or slush or muck on the ground... so what do you guys do?
