I agree in part, though I
think the Centers would need
time to
work out how to make these
changes. I think it could
happen but
I think that it will take
awhile if ever to convince
people who
can make these changes that
they are important changes to
make.
I think the Colorado Center
makes a good attempt, within
the
limits that are imposed. A
couple of the staff are dog
users,
one of the travel instructors
is a former dog user so has
some
understanding of working with
a dog. When I told him at the
end
of my training that I was
probably going to get another
dog, he
was very supportive of that
decision. He did, of course
encourage me to use my cane
once in a while. (Smile).
