[NAGDU] Vet update

I got the results back from Krokus's urine culture-no UTI. It's kinda too
bad, because that would be easy.

I ordered some cranberry pills for him before I got the results. I'll give
them to him anyway for a bit. Can't hurt; might help.

Next week I'll take him for an ultrasound, to see if there is a problem with
his bladder, and also a test to see if he has Cushings or Addison's disease.

The vet was telling me the signs of Cushings: polyuria, polydipsia,
polyphasia-pees a lot, drinks a lot, has a ravenous appetite. Well, he's
part lab; of course he has a ravenous appetite. If he wasn't hungry, I'd
know he was really sick. Another of the signs is potbelly, which he
definitely doesn't have.

Maybe I'm getting carried away with tests. If this next one doesn't show
anything, I think I'll stop. Maybe I'll try to talk with the vets at TSE
and see if they have any ideas, or if any of Krokus's kin had pee problems.

It seemed better this last week, but maybe we're getting used to taking him
out all the time. But it was a pain taking him out a lot at work, where
it's quite a distance to the exit.

He seems perfectly fine; he just has to pee a lot.

Tracy
