[NAGDU] International travel with a guidedog

Well it is hard to say. Each dog is different. With my first, I could
probably leave after six months but I'd only be gone for 2 weeks at
most. My second took the entire year to bond, but we still had some
kinks to work out, though it was likely her work style and mine
clashing from time to time. ON the other hand, I've known someone to
take sick and not work her dog for 2 years and she said they picked up
with ease. Note: Her pup was about 9 years old at the time. It just
depends on how solid your partnership or working relationship is.

How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and
tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will
have been all of these.
