[NAGDU] OK, i chose!

I didn't think the schools altered the dogs that young. Hmmm! July seems a little soon to me to be relying on an eight month old pup, but then again I've never trained a dog.

hmmm, you guys bring up a good point. i will do more research on the spay subject today. i know that most of the guide dog schools do early spays at 8 to 10 weeks old. i know that the dobies can go into their first heat any time after 6 months. she is only 5 months old. i just don’t want any problems while taking around an un-altered bitch.
and, yes the breeder says she will be around 25 inches tall.
i’m thinking of documenting her training progress on facebook or something. what do you guys think?
i am hoping that she will be ready to take on the national convention in july as well so i don’t want an intact girl there for sure.
if any of you are there and want to see what she looks like let me know.
she’s definitely not going to be a cutesy dog. lol.
i’m used to having this german shepherd who is very beautiful. She is retiring this week.
and, my previous dobie was one of the american dobies. sort of shaped like a dancer or model. she was pretty elegant herself and people were scared of her. lol.
but, hey, this city has crime in it. there was a second murder on our lightrail in a month on thursday. i actually want a dog that is intimidating and will keep the crazies from bothering me. but yet be calm and confident with a stable temperament.
