Welcome to the NAGDU list,Amanda. I am Mardi and I live in Tucson Arizona.
I have trained all my own guide dogs, because when I needed a guide dog,
there were no schools that trained for wheelchair users.I have trained 3
Siberian huskies, 1 Belgian Shepherd, and am currently training a Dutch
Shepherd to be my next Guide, I am currently using a Siberian Husky named
Neechee. I know you will enjoy the list. The people are great. Good luck in
finding a job and in getting your first guide dog. Take care, Mardi and
Shaman,semi-retired and Neechee,GD and Sedona,GDIT.
