[NAGDU] Wind Ensemble

Every dog is different, and nothing seemed to bother September when I had
her. She surprised me at every choir performance by staying put under my
chair, which is something she just plain would not do outside of choir
rehearsal or concerts.

Subject: [NAGDU] Wind Ensemble

Hello, All:

I am considering playing in a wind ensemble this summer. This is not
something I do often and never since I acquired my guide dog.
She is used to being with me during performances, but, as a singer, I am not
in the center of the orchestra, with loud instruments on all sides. If I
have Demi with me for the wind ensemble gig, she will be under my chair, and
I will be sitting in the center of the flute section, very close to the
brass and percussion sections. Is this advisable? Should I use some sort of
ear protection for Demi?

Thank you, and have a great evening!

Rachel
