[NAGDU] Taking my dog to college football games

My first dog was never bothered by loud music, thunder, or the sound of
fireworks at a distance when he was young. However, I took him to my
grandfather's funeral several years into our partnership where there was a
21 gun salute, and after that, his anxiety around loud noises became
immediately much worse. That anxiety continued for the rest of his life. I
would be extremely reluctant to bring a new dog to a game where there will
be fireworks because of this experience. Your dog may be totally fine, but
just be aware of the risks.

Best,
Alysha

Subject: [NAGDU] Taking my dog to college football games

Hi,

I plan on taking my seeing eye dog to our local college football games.
What should I do to get him ready for the crowd and excitement? There are
fireworks, but only when the at home team gets points. How would he handle
this without muttmuffs?
? We planned on going tonight. Is this too soon?
