[NAGDU] OT cane tips

Could people write me offlist, if you have a cane tip you particularly like,
and tell me of its pros and cons?

My husband likes a different style of cane than I do, and I only know 2
kinds of tips.  Now there are lots more than when I used a cane regularly.
He likes the Ambutech folding, with the roly ball, because it doesn't get
stuck in grates and stuff, but it does break when idiots in New York step on
it.
