Funny that you say this... That is what I hear most of the time, that Lyft is much better at enforcing the law and reprimanding their drivers. However, I have not had as many access denials with Uber. My very first trip, I almost did, but I jumped in her car before she could pull away! All of my issues have been with Lyft. Due to this, I take Lyft more often to try to monitor that they are following the law and rules. I had a denial in June, and while the lady from Lyft was fairly responsive, she informed me that they have changed their policy and the driver was only issued a warning.  I was very upset to hear this! And I did note this on the NFB Rideshare survey and spoke with the paralegal team member.

I can tell you from experience that Uber has way more issues still than Lyft does.  Every denial I have had in 2018 was with Uber, and even though the driver should have been terminated, Uber did not do so.  Lyft however, has been more responcive I think, and the one time I had an issue, Lyft took care of it immediately, and that particular driver was removed.

No, I don't think we are saying this at all. Most of the time drivers will discover we have dogs and will not take the call. That is the only way they could get away with it. If they take the drive and then, discovering you have a dog, they cancel, that they aren't to do. It would seem to me personally to be a problem that they have a secret profile that tells them we have a dog. I don't know what the ramifications to that would be. We'll have to see later on, but we are still involved with plotting how the settlement is going.
