Thought you all might find this of interest. This is the rule making
process of the federal government. In other words, when a law is passed in
general terms a federal agency is then tasked with creating regulations to
implement the intent of the law. These regulations carry the same force as
law.
Access Board Working Group on Accessible Drug Labels to Hold
Teleconferences
A working group organized by the Access Board to
develop best practices for making drug labels
accessible to people who are visually impaired
or who are elderly will convene by
teleconference on April 9 and April 22 from 1:00
to 5:00 (ET). The meetings will focus on
discussion of revisions to the working group's
draft report to the Board. Members of the
public can follow the proceedings through the
toll-free conference line.
