I apologize for the scatter shot that this
email will be.
Further I apologize for sending this to people to whom this
cannot possibly apply.
Forgive my ignorance of how to use contacts in Windows 8.1.
If you don't know Duane Iverson or are not interested in the NFB of ND you
may delete this message without reading any further.
I am sending this to a large group of people on my contact list so much of
what I will say may not apply to some of you.
First my mother, June Iverson, is given but a short time to live. She has
had a couple of severe heart attacks and is quite week and ill. Her doctor,
Dr. Frank McCoy does not think she will ever recover and will last only a
few more days.
The family is gathering. My daughter DeAnna has left Bloomington IL and will
arrive via Fargo some time tomorrow afternoon. We plan to keep her in the
hospital two more days. After that if there is no improvement, we will bring
her home, put her under hospice care, and wait until the end which we do not
expect to be very long.
If there is improvement, she will transfer to the Bethel Lutheran Home for
rehabilitation hopefully to strengthen her enough so she can return home.
For the next several days she has a multitude of care givers. Myself, her
grand daughter Bethany, my brother Bruce and his wife Cindy, DeAnna and
mother Lynora, Bonnie Johnson and others.
Needless to say I will be more or less off line until this situation
resolves itself. You can call me for anything concerning our convention of
the NFB of ND which will be September 13 at the Doublewood Inn.
I called Sheila Kraft and I urge you to reserve your room. I left a message.
Please call me if you can.
Also we had discussed a presentation of Ambers.
I need to contact Amy and will do so but she is not in my contact list.
Milton Ota will, I presume, be glad to help in this emergency and he has my
number and my full confidence.
God Bless you all. Any questions can be directed to me at this email address
diverson at midco.net <mailto:diverson at midco.net> or by phone: Though I might
not be as available by phone as I might wish.
Tomorrow looks to be a busy day.
Sincerely Yours:
Duane Iverson
