[Nebraska-Senior-Blind] Affiliate Meetings and Updates

Greetings Fellow Federationists,

 

With the excitement and craziness of national convention I almost forgot to
let you know some local news!

 

First is the information for our next NFB of Nebraska Board of Directors
meeting.  It will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the

University of Nebraska at Kearney

Student Union

1013 West 27th Street

Kearney, NE 68849

 

Transportation may be available, so please contact me as soon as possible if
you are interested in attending.  The agenda will be released by the end of
July.

 

Next is a change to our NFB of Nebraska state convention dates and location.
Due to some problems with the previously scheduled hotel; we have decided to
hold the 2023 State Convention at

The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel

333 South 13th Street

Lincoln, NE 68508

 

To ensure use of the whole facility we will hold our convention one week
later than announced.  The dates are as follows

*	Thursday, March 23, 2023
*	Friday, March 24, 2023
*	Saturday, March 25, 2023
*	Sunday, March 26, 2023

 

The Cornhusker is a beautiful hotel with ample space for meetings.  More
information on the convention will be released following the august meeting.

 

Finally, for those attending national convention don't forget to stop by the
Nebraska Table A30 and pick up your Colby Ridge Popcorn Balls and The Mill
Coffee and Tea products!
