NCBVI Commissioners Meeting


The next board meeting of the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually
Impaired Board of Commissioners will be on February 5th, 2011 at 9:00 AM.
The meeting will be at the Omaha State Office Building, Room 224 and 226,
second floor, 1313 Farnam on-the-Mall, Omaha, Nebraska.

In the recent past we the NFB have had a very poor turn out at these
meetings while the ACB has been there in noticeable numbers. I would like to
encourage everyone that is able to attend, to come down and help represent
the NFB while learning more about the Commission and taking an active part
in ensuring that the Commission continues to offer the excellent services
that it has in the past.

Future meetings of the Commission Board and tentative focus topics will be:
May 14, 2011 in Norfolk, NE - NCBVI Executive Director Evaluation
July 30, 2011 in Grand Island, NE - Partnerships of NCBVI
November (Date TBA) in Lincoln, NE - Apartment Resource Position
