[Nebraska-Students] NFB National Convention - Virtual Experience

The 2022 National Convention of the National Federation of the Blind is
almost here! 

 

during the week of July 5 through July 10 there will be a virtual experience
component each day of the convention. As a reminder, this is not a hybrid
convention.

for the NFB22 virtual experience is still open. There is no cost to
register, but participants must register to receive relevant content and
door prizes!

 

Exclusive Virtual Activities:

*    Hospitality Suite, Division Day Showcase, Meet Dan Parker

*    Board Meeting: An open session with presentations from leaders of the
Federation.

*    General Sessions: The large portion of the agenda where all attendees
come together for ceremonies, Federation reports, special speakers, and
more!

*    Banquet: This red-carpet event includes the President's banquet address
and award presentations.

captions and Spanish will be available.

 

Hosting a virtual banquet party? We would love to know about your party and

by June 30th for a chance  at a drop in during the convention banquet in New
Orleans on July 10th!

 

Please note this is NOT a hybrid convention, therefore virtual participants
will only be able to stream certain seminars and general session.  Virtual
attendees will not be able to seek the floor or vote. 

 

A proposed amendment to the constitution will be voted upon during
convention.  Read the text of the

in the June 2022 Braille Monitor.  Although you can't vote virtually it's
still important to be informed of possible changes.
