The Computer Center for Visually Impaired People (CCVIP)
at Baruch College presents
Right ‘Round The Corner
A Demo Center Event

Mobility Specialist Gene Bourquin, DHA, will demo NYC DOT's Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS), devices affixed to pedestrian signal poles to offer important information. At a touch of a button, APSs send audible and vibrotactile indications when the walk signal is on.

Oh wait, there’s more! A LinkNYC expert will show you how to be proficient on those ubiquitous kiosks. Make them your personal communications platform with their superfast, free public Wi-Fi, make phone calls, charge your devices or use a tablet to access city services, maps and directions. This “hands on”, “feet on” experience will be happening on Lexington Avenue and East 25th Street, right ‘round the corner from CCVIP.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT, but reservations are required.
To reserve your spot, please call 646-312-1420.
