[NFB-Arkansas] Absent-Tea meeting synopsis

We had a great meeting Thursday eveningabout the launch of our state-wide Absent-Tea fundraising project. Thanks to all who attended.
I’ll sum up the main points, in case you missed it.
The info about our Absent-Tea will be distributed via email, social media, and text messages. Closer to mid-September, you will receive a few emailed messages from me, that will remind you that it’s time to start sharing about the Absent-Tea, and will also have an image attached. I will send a separate email that contains the exact wording to share via email, Facebook, and Instagram. If you use Facebook, you will be able to share posts about the Absent-Tea that will be on the state and chapter pages. There will also be a Facebook event you will be able to invite people to. If you use Instagram, you can share the designated image with the email content as your caption. The tweet will go out on the state Twitter account, so if you use Twitter, you will be able to share that tweet. If you prefer text messaging, I will send out the content for that in a separate message.
This is all free – it just takes some time to share.
We want the image that will accompany social media posts to contain Alt Text. I am working on figuring out if it can have the Alt Text embedded on the image, so you don’t have to add that, but I’ll update you later about this. If you don’t already know how to add Alt Text, copy and paste, or any of the other skills involved with helping with this, now would be a great time to learn. These are all skills you can use in other areas of your life.
None of this will begin until September 14or 15.
