Hello Dean,

I started learning braille about a year ago and quickly picked up a refreshable braille display in the fall after a few months of various hard copy books from NLS that were in varying states of readability from age, not to mention a bit of confusion from older books that were created before UEB.

Now that I've spent a little over half a year living on a Perkins style keyboard with my Orbit Reader 20 Plus, I figure it is a good idea to get used to a slate and stylus for times when it isn't convenient to use the braille display for a few quick notes while I'm out and about.

I still consider myself young depending on how you look at it, 55 years young biologically but 1296 years old and holding in stress years.

Thank you for the advice!

I'm sure after a while it will be like morse code and become more and more automatic over time.

Take care,
Tony
