[nfb-db] Types of deafblindness?

Hi guys
I hardly write but keep up with what you guys are up to. I'm a bit bothered when you guys talk about using sign, thus my question of if I have 70% hearing loss with hearing aids, and encounter some of the situations mentioned of not hearing the alarm clock if it's not loud enough; when there are many people in one place, have a hard time participating in conversations but when I lower a bit hearing aid volume with the person speaking close, i can join; howeever I have enough hearing to not need sign:
Am I considered deafblind? Are then different types or degrees of DB?
