Good morning, Marcus, I will answer the questions for which I have an answer.
Yes you can use ringtones you make yourself or send to the iPhone. I'm not familiar with this process as I only use vibration, but if you google it, you will get instructions.
The iPhone has GPS, and you can also buy other GPS for it such as iMove or Around me. I use the GPS almost every day.
I use the calendar, and as far as I know, appointments are either daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. However I could be wrong. You can set an alarm every day, if you voice, and use Siri, you can just hold the home button and say "set an alarm for 11 a.m. and it will be done without going into the app.
You can also share files using dropbox. I do this all the time, but you will have to find an app that supports the file type you read, e.g. brf, txt, kindle, etc. But this is quite easy and there are many recommendations on the Applevis website.
