Janice,

I’;I’ve been with the NFB  since 1998 and I had no idea there was a DB
division until you told me a few months ago.  I thought NFB was just blind
and I voiced my gripes to my chapter  many times.

Hi Cheri,
The NFB-DB list  has been around for years.  It serves the DB of the
Federation and those with combined hearing and vision loss.  The Division
has a web-site as well.  It is nothing fancy.  I have not looked at it in a
while so I would need to find the web address and then I will post it for
everyone.

My understanding is that it started out to help those of us who had both
hearing and vision loss to ask us how we voted and we all gave our responses
as to what would help us to be able to vote in elections.  When that was
finished this board was to let others ask questions and give responses.  I
hope this helps you.  I was somewhat complexed at first and then I just
jumped in and answered someones questions or said hello to new members.
