I agree the Jernigan institute did an excellent job on this video. We
determined that one small correction had to be made. The revised
version will be back soon.

Peter,

By copying this reply to the people responsible for the website, I'm
hoping I can get an answer to your question.

Hello Ed and listers,

After having seen "Unlocking the Braille Code" that was posted to
the
NFB Web Site last week imagine my shook at discovering that it's no
longer
there nor is it on www.braille.org. Does anyone know why this happened?
Was
the video uploaded in error? This one is the best Braille Literacy this
organization has ever produced with "That the Blind May Read" as a close

second. Please help us solve the mystery of the vanishing Braille
Literacy
video from our Web sites.

Hello Ed,

While you're at it can you research the 1969 Banquet Speech. Once
the
audio of that speech is posted to the NFB AV Center all of Dr.Jernigan's

Banquet Addresses can be heard as well as read online. The 1969 Banquet
Address is called "Blindness: New Insights on Old Outlooks."

Tina:

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. As a result of your email,
we're now looking for a complete copy to replace the one that's
currently on the website. I'll let everyone on this list know if and
when it's been mounted.

With Federationist greetings,

Ed Morman

Does anyone out there have a copy of the 2002 banquet address they have
digitized? I know that National has it on their site, but the recording
is incomplete. If you've digitized that speech, please e-mail me
privately and let me know how I can receive it. If you're able to share
the file through one of the file sharing services, that would be really
cool. So if anyone has this speech, please e-mail me privately. Thanks.
