Hi Susan,

UEB applies to literary and STEM applications. Music braille has its own
code.

However, there will be rules for embedded Music braille within UEB
contexts. In this regard, Music braille is somewhat analogous to Nemeth
code.

According to my contacts at the school in Gooding, in the State of Idaho,
an IEP can specify UEB maths or Nemeth math, depending on what the IEP
committee believes is best for an individual student. This means that TVIs
should be prepared to teach either UEB maths or Nemeth math.
