I apologize for not seeing this sooner. I had been told about your notice
but couldn't find it. With the death of my husband, I have been quite busy.
Do you wish to be appointed to the scholarship or any other committees? I
understand your need to take care of personal things so I don't want to
burden you with responsibilities. Please let me know, and thank you for your
service to the National Federation of the Blind of Idaho.

I Russell Smith will be stepping down from the state board. I have thought
about this matter, and have decided to do so. This is a matter of personal
reasons. I have served on the board for the last twelve years or so. I need
to step down so that I can deal with some pressing issues. I will be
available, but feel that there are others that can serve to be on the board.
Thus giving someone else to speak up and share their thoughts on where this
organization should go. I will not be present at the board meeting.
