Subject: Proposed Rule Change to Hunting regulations for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Good afternoon Dana,

I am not sure if you remember me from our conversation a few months ago, But I am Kylie Cartwright and I am working on getting accessible technology to hunters who are blind and visually impaired. I am happy to give you an update as well as ask for assistance in continuing to push these changes forward for the entire state of Idaho.

What we are specifically tackling at the moment is allowing the use of a simple camera device to be attached to the scope for the purpose of allowing a companion hunter to help aim safely. We have now reached the stage where they have proposed a draft to change the current ruling. I have attached this document to this email.

I would like to ask that you share this with interested people for feedback so that I can take it to Idaho fish and game for the final meeting before it is reviewed by the public for comment.

Once we reach that point I will reach out to you once again so that we can have as much positive feedback from the blind and visually impaired communities in Idaho as much as possible.

I look for your continued support in this endeavor and will keep you in the loop!

-Kylie and Tj
