When you pour soda, you have to listen extremely carefully, because the soda will foam up a lot if you pour it too fast. Pour it slowly . It will still foam up a little.

Though I wonder, how have you been pouring other liquids?
Like water, and soda?
The principle would be the same, just with milk.
