[NFB-InTheKitchen] separating eggs without an egg separator

Hi all,

I plan to make a devil's food cake next week that requires some egg yolks but no whites. Also requires some whole eggs, and those are easy enough. I do not have an egg separator, and am wondering if there's another way to do it safely without getting lots of shells in the bowl. I would appreciate some advice. This would also be good because I plan to make meringues and other such things. Thanks so much!
