terry,
i believe most folks would be curious as to how a totally blind person could
enjoy pictures. in my case, i was sighted until in my teens. at that time,
my eyes stopped seeing but my visual brain never did.
i don't see black but pictures of everything i hear. for example, i imagine
that i see the computer in front of me, the room with the furniture i'm
sitting in and the doors and rooms off of this one.
i still dream in full color and pictures too. my husband will tell you that
out of anyone in our family, i am the one always wanting a photo taken of
someone.
