[Nfb-krafters-korner] Help from sewers or knitters

Okay, I am designing a knit (not felted) purse and I want to make a liner
for it that will be divided and contain a couple of pockets within it. The
liner will be removable from the purse so that I can have the same purse in
different colors/patterns and simply move the liner from one purse to the
other on the fly.

Ideally, I would like the liner to be machine wash and dry. If I could get
the outside sides (picture a box for simplicity of this explanation) to be
stiff so that if you sat it on a table it would stand up on its own (or at
least once it is filled with items), this would be the heavy support I am
looking for.

My preference would be to fuse the fabric instead of sewing but that is also
an option. Just remember that I will NOT be fusing the fabric to the purse.

Please tell me about any of the products regarding bags that you know of. I
have been looking at different patterns for knit purses and 90% are felted.
I do not want felting because I want to use yarns that are machine wash and
dry. Also, I have not found any patterns that include dividers inside the
purse. Plus, like I mentioned above, I really want the liner to be removable
so I can switch purses whenever I want without the hassle of reorganizing
and not being able to find things.

Feel free to call me if you need a better description or to talk through
options. I am finally up to talking to people again. It was really hard
those first few days but I am now able to talk about her without crying so
much.
