I visited the Amish country in east central Ohio this week.  A woman has a textile shop where she sells rugs.  She as created a circular loom for weavingg rugs.  It was very interesting.  Has anyone done this or heard of it?  She said in the past people used wagon wheels to make the circular rugs.  I purchased a braided rug using 
wool blankets cut into strips.
