[Nfb-krafters-korner] Braille was RE: needles

Hi Lynda:

I didn't mean to badger you about learning Braille.  I originally thought it 
was something you did have an interest in learning, but didn't see the sense 
in learning it.  Often there are stories about people wanting to learn it, 
but being discouraged away from it by rehab teachers or even school teachers 
in the case of school aged children, and I just wanted to offer assurances 
that if it was something you wanted to do you could do it ... especially 
since you're a knitter.  There is a woman in her 50's in my adjustment to 
vision loss group that although visually impaired her entire life, only just 
learned Braille through The Hadley School now that she is totally blind and 
has a need. Its not an age thing, but it is a personal choice for those who 
loose vision later in life.  Anyway, by no means did I mean to give you a 
hard time about it.
