[Nfb-krafters-korner] Happy Thanksgiving week; FUTURE REFLECTIONS

Actually, the NFB does not publish Kernel books anymore. (K e r n e l should be spelled like a kernel of corn or a kernel of wisdom.) However, our NFB editors do love to receive true stories such as Dick's emails and might use them in either or both of the NFB magazines. The editor of the "Braille Monitor" is Gary Wunder and you can send articles to him here: gwunder at nfb.org. The editor of "Future Reflections: A Magazine for Parents and Teachers of Blind Children" is Deborah Kent Stein, and you can send articles to her here: dkent5817 at att.net or nfb at nfb.org. Both editors are totally blind and wonderful writers and editors. You can read these two magazines on our Website and you can request a subscription. Go to www.nfb.org then follow the links from the heading called PUBLICATIONS to find specific ordering information for the different formats (large print, recorded form, braille, email subscription), or to read the issues on our Website. Dick, I suggest you will greatly enjoy subscribing to and reading "Future Reflections."

Cordially,

Dick;
Someone mentioned keeping a log of what you do with Willy. You could write some great stories for Curnel books to submit to the NFB. Check out their site and all their Curnel books should be on the site. They are a collection of stories, mostly written by blind people, about events in the lives of the blind.
Enjoy reading and feal free to contribute some of your happenings with Willy.
Terry P.

Hello everyone
I just wanted to wish you a great upcoming week in case time gets away from me and I don't write you next week.
As of tomorrow evening, I'll have Willy for the whole weekend, as what was supposed to have been last weekend got postponed till this one.
We'll see what happens.

Anyway, have a great Thanksgiving if you don't hear from me next weekend.
Dick  Carlson
