Here are two recipes for Cinnamon dough. They both will make an
unbelievable scent in your house.

Recipe 1

One Half cup applesauce

One cup cinnmon

One quarter cup white glue

Mix half of the cinnamon into the applesauce. Add the glue and then add
enough cinnamon to make a nice dough. Sticky dough needs more cinnamon. Dry
dough can use more applesauce. It is suggested that you use a woodenspoon to
mix the product. When mixed together stick those hands in and kneed the
dough until it is smooth and nice to hold.

Recipe 2

This recipe calls for equal parts of applesauce and cinnamon. I haven't
tried it but I am quite sure it will work well.

With both recipes turn the kneeded dough unto a large piece of waxed paper.
Flatten with your hands and then place another sheet of waxed paper on top.
Roll the dough out to about a quarter inch square.

Remove the top paper and use cookie cutters or a plastic knife to create
your treasures.

Use a straw to poke a hole at the top of the items for hanging.

Let dry on a cooling rack or clean waxed paper for a couple days. The
project is ready to decorate when it is totally dry and will be very hard.

Decorating suggestions

Add a couple teaspoons of glitter to the mixture while mixing.

Hot glue barrettes or jewelry pin backs to the item, or ut a ribbon through
the ole for a necklace.

Draw designs with a tooth pick on cutouts before dry.

Use fabric markers to decorate or to write names and use as tags on gifts.

Make designs, I like to trim around the edges, with glitter glue.

You can hot glue gems or other items but I have found they fall off easily.

Remember that these are not made for eating. Keep them out of reach of pets
and children. Believe me, they smell so good you will have a hard time
remembering they are decorations. lol
