[Nfb-krafters-korner] Marking Needles?

Barb,

In my sighted embroidery days I used to have a couple different ways to
store needles.
First of all I had a sort of book made out of fabric for the cover, a piece
of ribbon to tie it closed, and in the booklet were 2 pages of felt. This
thing was about the size of a 3 by 5 card folded in half. On the top of the
pages we had embroidered a number that represented the size of the needle
stored on that page. So it would say 18 at the top of the page, and we
would just stick the appropriate needle into the felt on that page. Another
way I used to keep needles was with small prescription bottles and just
place a label on the bottle what was inside.

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] Plastic Canvas needles

Question on how to identify needle sizes. I just signed up for the plastic
canvas class and yesterday went to get my yarn and needles. I found a
package of plastic canvas needles with 5 needles of different sizes but
nothing on the package to indicate what sizes they are. Can anyone tell me
how to identify them? Also how do you mark or label needles?
