[Nfb-krafters-korner] Some Thoughts

Henrietta:

I appreciate your concerns from a student's perspective. Truthfully though
and not meant to hurt anyone's feelings, the recordings as they stand is so
poor from both sound quality & the additional burden of being loaded with
so much irrelavant chatter they would have to be heavily edited & all
unrelated talk totally cut out. . I don't even want to hear all of it in
those cases when I've had to go back and re-listen to a class and if I had
to pay money for a recorded lesson I'd be upset if I heard all that
unrelated junk on a recorded lesson. The major importance to me as an
instructor who wants her creations & ideas protected is that the recordings
contains the core and building blocks for me if I ever choose to do more
with them in terms of possibly building my own business or even using my own
created teaching tools, & my documents to teach others not associated with
the nfb KKd. Not for nothing but I'm a good teacher and I do teach others
unrelated to this group how to knit. Rest assured when I teach others I'm
not pulling out an mp3 player with a recording saying, "listen to this!"
<SMILE> If the NFB claimed these materials as their's I would be prohibited
from using materials I put together, spent hours documenting and thinking
through the wording, presentation and ways to explain the materials by
distance learning. That would be a very unfair situation to me. I'm very
sorry for those who just don't want to hear all of this because they just
don't care what's happening and only want what they want.

Eileen
