[Nfb-krafters-korner] FQ: What new craft would you like to learn and how will you go about doing this?

Primarily, I want to focus on improving my knitting skills.  I want to build
on the new techniques I learned last year and add additional techniques that
will raise my knitting to another level.  A big part of that is learning to
knit garments that are customized to a person's particular figure.  I hear
that the difference between homemade and hand-made, is like the difference
between clothes off the rack and custom made garments.    I love to learn
new stitches and techniques, so there will be a liberal sprinkling of
detailing thrown in there.

Weaving and bead work have peaked my interest and I plan to investigate them
further.  Maybe I'll try a class or two to see if I like them.

I agree with Dixie, transportation is the biggest deterrent to taking
classes.  I have no qualms about asking for additional help, but just
getting there seems to be a huge hurdle to overcome.  That is why KK is so
great - classes are as close as my telephone!
