I am glad to hear that the list won't be published on the internet.  I agree
with you that member's privacy would be at risk.  I do hope though that a
representative from the board would contact all members to inform all the
membership of the pending vote.

This is exactly why we have not given a poll until we have the most current
up to date information. We have discussed privacy issues on a listserv
before and agree that no list will be published on here or on the website.
Now, I do not know the answer to this outside of board members, but perhaps
a list of names might be available privately off-list. I am positive it
could not contain anything other than names without express permission from
the individual but I am not sure if we have the right to provide names.

I just do not want someone coming back and accusing us of telling people
they are a member. Board members have a right to this information but they
do not have the right to share it.
