Oh, you keep me laughing. But I do know how you feel. I have to say it is fun to keep people guessing. What will that crazy Henrietta do now.

I have to say that this summer has zapped my imagination. That isn't good and that is just what I am working on fixing now.

You just keep them guessing and while you're at it, keep me thinking of those crazy things to do.

After I pushe them well into all the grooves, I cover the slabs up and leave them there overnight. My neighbor came out in the morning as I was uncovering my slabs. He said, "Are you making bread?" There is no telling what my neighbors think of me - an old lady laying slabs of thick clay on rocks, fallen tree trunks, and abandoned railroad ties. The fantastic thing about CLAY is that ANYTHING GOES.

Now would be the time for you to gather some leaves while they are still out there in the yards and woods in your area. We'll need to have some real leaves when we do the classes. You can gather some now, and press them in a book to flatten them and keep them in tact for use in our classes in the winter time. Be sure to press them in something that will keep them flat - otherwise they will durl up and be unuseable.
