While knitting off peg 24 or your last peg, place your working yarn around peg 2 or after to give yourself some leverage, while you knit it off.

Hi Carol,

Once you get your second row of pegs wrapped, hold on to the loose yarn and immediately knit off the last peg wrapped. This stitch will hold your working yarn and keep it from raveling on you. Just be sure to hold on to that yarn after the last peg is wrapped until you get it knit off. If it feels a bit loose to you, you can wrap it more tightly and then slide the hook underneath the loop once you've knit off and pull on it a bit to loosen it up. Hope this helps.

Tanya

Okay got that so far but for some reason when I put the loose yarn and then
pull the loop from the peg over the loose strand of yarn to form the new
loop on the peg I tend to miss the loose yarn and then I drop the stitch all
together from that peg then I have to try and get it back on the peg with
out losing all what I have knitted. Any suggestions?
