Melanie,

I like everything that Becky said about scarfs. You see, ask a question and
it's for sure that the members of KK will have some good ideas and tips like
what Cathy said. I know Lion Brand yarns has some nice scarf patterns.
There's one that has a hat to go with it that is made with knit 2, purl 2
ribbing and one that has a hood on it. Still another one is a zig zag
scarf. I'm actually making that one, at least I'm trying to make it. I'm
practicing with some other yarn before I buy the one with sparkle. If you
go on to www.lionbrand.com and go to the search area, you can find lots of
patterns for whatever you want to make. You can also google the words
Christmas knitting patterns and I'll bet you'll find more than you'd ever
want in those types of patterns. Well, happy knitting.

Regards,

Denise Shaible

Oh, I hope I introduced myself. If I didn't, I'm Denise and I live in
Sacramento, CA. I've attended several classes and I know that I'm still
trying to get some of the projects together. Well, I have the patterns when
I get around to doing the projects. I've also found lots of good advice
about knitting and other crafts with KK.

Hi friends,

I just found a stash of holiday yarn and I don't know what to do with it!
It's called Red Heart Holly. It's kind of like Lion Brand Homespun in that
it is textured and it also has a metallic thread running through it. I have
two skeins of red, one green and one white. I need help deciding what to do
with it. I was thinking a tree skirt maybe or some other decorative piece. I
also thought about doing hats for some of the babies I know. I am part of a
bunco group which has seven other women. I thought about making something
special for them - maybe a crochet ornament or a pot holder, something for a
small Christmas gift. Please help! Smile. Decisions, decisions!

Thanks,

Melanie

P.S. Does anyone on this list use the iPhone app, Hey Tell? I do and I was
thinking about creating a group for other crafters. what do you all think?
