To undo a knit stitch, grab the base of the stitch with two fingers and take it off of the needle,
then pull the working yarn so the stitch will unwind. Then put the loop back onto the appropriate
needle and try again.
The trick here is not to drop and lose the loop in your hands while performing the process. If you
do that, ugg! The thicker the yarn, the easier this is to do. it takes some practice but is
certainly doable.
