[Nfb-krafters-korner] the parts of a crochet stitch was: question for crocheters

Hi Terry,
Ok, there is no contradiction here, but what is confusing you is that two different parts of a
crochet stitch are being discussed.

The front of the stitch has two loops and normally you would crochet through both loops to the
middle of the stitch, but different textured effects can be created as Annette described by
crocheting either only into the front or the back loop.

The back of the crochet stitch is called the post and is located behind the two front loops and the
middle whole in the stitch. when double crocheting you can crochet into the post to creat even
more textured effects.

I never knew any of this before Annette and Joyce kindly explained. this is just my understanding
of what I have learned from them yesterday.

Hope this helps clarify.
