Rebecca,
Nice that you have joined the group. You will learn much here and get all
your questions answered, by posting your questions.It is wise of you to
start slow and build what you want to do before rushing. Enjoy the holidays
and ask any questions you have. I have a small amount of knowledge about the
vending programs. As Ramona says, it is possible what I have learned, the
contracts are set up by the business part of the rehabitation  organization.
I do not believe you, the consumer can do anything about making or asking to
open or start anything new as that is the responsibility of the business
agent. Not totally sure of this, as it is different in each state.

Hello,

                My name is Rebecca and I  am legally blind and enjoy
scrapbooking.  Sometime ago I  started loom knitting, put it down because of
other things and am now wanting to get back into it.  I  have a  hat
started, and in time would like to make scarfs, dishcloths and potholders.
In looking at the archived  class topics the pony  bead candle, banners  and
ornaments, and safety  pin beading interest me. I  also have thought loom
weaving would be fun. I  need to take things in little steps.  With the
holidays, I  don't see taking any classes before January.

A  curiosity question, I  am wondering how blind crafters go about selling
their crafts.  I  am thinking  especially how to find outlets  of where to
sell crafts.  Does anyone know if  a  blind crafter can qualify for the Ran
doff Shepard Act?
