Hi Amber,

I am the sewer around here and have taught the sewing, piecing and quilting classes.

What type of sewing projects is she interested in doing?  Do you have a sewing machine and know how to use it?

I am planning on doing some chats after the holidays regarding sewing machines and the different machines  I have been sewing blind for the last 20 years and before I went blind I sewed making crafts and selling them wholesale & retail.  I have been sewing since I was 11 years old.

I’m new to this list. I’m a parent.  I have a blind 15 year old daughter. 
My daughter has always been crafty. 
As she’s getting older I’m trying to get her into different hobbies. I was wondering if there are any blind sewers or quilters?
I would love to hear the best ways to get her involved in learning how to sew and eventually quilt. 
Are there any tips on what is best equipment to use?
She has a little vision, but only a little in one eye. Any suggestions would be great.
