> You will learn how to make 4 placemats and a table runner using the technique "Quilt as you go".  Choose Holiday fabrics to decorate your table for the Holidays
> Skills needed:
> Sewing machine:  familiarize  yourself prior to class & know how to thread your machine &fill and place bobbin
> ** You can sew this by hand, but there are a number of layers to go thru.
> Supply list:
> ·         1 jelly roll [2 ½” by 44”] at least 40 strips
> ·         2 yards for backing
> ·         1 yard for binding or double folded bias -be sure to purchase enough of bias  [4] placemats 14by 18 ½” &Table Runner [14 by 48”
> ·         Thread [matching or contrast to backing
> ·         thread to match binding
> ·         fabric Hobbs Heirloom Premium Cotton Batting  80/20 [crib size-45” by 60”]
> ·         Scissors
> ·         Freezer paper to make pattern for placemats
> ·         Straight pins [I prefer long pins 1 ¾” or longer]
