Seedlings publishes half-millionth braille book for blind children!

Seedlings Braille Books for Children produced its 500,000th braille book for children who are blind and visually impaired on Aug. 22! The book, The Boxcar Children, was sent to a school in Tampa.

Seedlings was founded in 1984. It is dedicated to increasing the opportunity for literacy by providing high-quality braille books to children around the world. Seedlings gives half of its books away free, and the other half are sold for an average price of just $10 a book.

Seedlings publishes more than 1,300 titles from contemporary literature to well-loved classics. More than 360 of the titles are available in UEB.

Order our 2018 catalog, due out in mid-September, by calling 800-777-8552 or browse our catalog online at http://www.seedlings.org/order.php
