Diagnostician/IEP Specialist
 
The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired Early Childhood
Program is seeking a Diagnostician/IEP Specialist.  This individual will
conduct diagnostic evaluations and determine eligibility for services. Will
assist classroom teachers with ongoing assessments and data collection.  May
facilitate IEP meetings and assist to complete IEP paperwork. Minimal state
travel may be required. Master's degree in educational assessment and valid
NM Public Education Department teaching and educational diagnostician
license required.  Two years teaching experience in Special Education with
experience teaching students with vision impairments and blindness required.
Will be required to become Braille proficient.  This is a 9-month position.
Position available for the 2018-2019 school year.  Applications accepted
until filled.
