Transition Services Coordinator

Duties include the ability to provide individualized and/or group services in developing transition plans to include career development, employment preparation, self-determination development, vocational assessment, accessing statewide resources, and integration in the workplace community to students Pre-K to 12 with visual impairments and multiple disabilities.  Master’s degree or higher in Special Education or related areas and NM Public Education Department licensure required. Training and/or experience in special education teaching, counseling, school-to-work initiatives, and in the blind and visually impaired student population required.  Will be required to become Braille proficient, visual impairment coursework may be required.  Full‑time contract for the 2018-2019 school year. Applications accepted until filled.
